Most investors and managers actually underperform the market. This is because they allow their emotions to get in the way of decisions. When quantitative strategies are used, it becomes easier to ignore emotion and focus on the facts.
Currently, we update our strategies weekly, generally on Saturday. While we would like to update them daily, we currently do not have the resources to do so. We also did some research on the update frequency, and we found that our ratings don't change much from day to day.
You should see a link on your account page where you will be able to cancel your premium membership.
If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged at all. If you cancel within 30 days of your last payment, than you can use the contact us page to request a prorated refund. If you cancel anytime else or within 30 days of your last payment but without requesting a refund, you will still have premium access until the end of the period you paid for.
We really cannot answer this question because we do not know your specific goals. Even if we did, we are not an investment advisor and can not make any recommendations for any one person. That said, the best way to figure this out is to compare your goals to those of the strategy. If you invest in stocks and are looking for outperformance, consider our stock rating system or our Stock Selector model portfolio.
Options are derivatives and their value depends on the underlying stock, so our stock ratings may be able to assist you with picking stocks that outperform. However, we did not design our strategies with options trading in mind. There are many different types of options strategies with varying degrees of risk. The safer type such as buy-write and put-write should work well with our stock rating system, whereas riskier options strategies are probably better left alone.
We understand that entering payment information before the trial period may not be desirable to some of our customers. However, it is necessary for us to do this because it would otherwise be easy for someone to register with a different email after the end of the trial period and not pay anything at all. During the 14 day trial period, you are completely free to cancel the subscription and you will not be billed at all.
We do not handle any payment data at all. All payment information is entered on PayPal's website and we are only able to access details such as name and email. While it would be possible to integrate payments with our own website, keeping it separate gives our customers confidence about the safety of their payment information.
We do not send emails frequently at all. The only times you will receive emails are for registration and log in purposes, important news about our website, or strategy updates that you have opted to receive.
Right now, we don't have any plans to raise the price. However, we periodically review our pricing and it may happen in the future. If we do decide to raise our membership price in the future, than everyone who is a member before then will be able to keep the current price.
